BLACK MAJIC didn't start as a plan. It started with a leap of faith.
Being bold. Finding your voice. Conquering your fears. Stepping off the porch and taking that leap of faith, whether you're ready or not — that's what this brand is. It wasn't fully formed when it began. It got chiseled. Shaped, refined, brought back better, again and again, until one day it clicked — and I knew it when I saw it.
BLACK MAJIC is the creative energy that lives inside every little Black boy. It's what guides us on the journey — learning, loving, healing, growing, understanding. It's a blend of all the cultures and all the heritage. And there is only one way to live this life: according to the truth — the broad understanding of life that can only come through a real relationship with God.
Where I'm from, they call the ones who make it out "the talent."
The top ten percent. The exceptional ones. But here's what nobody tells you about making it out: the further you go, the more the world asks you to leave behind. Suddenly it's not acceptable to walk how you walk, talk how you talk, or claim the things that got you here. Piece by piece, you're asked to trade your identity for a seat at the table.
BLACK MAJIC is the refusal to make that trade. It's for everyone who said yes to a better life — and refused to leave themselves behind.
The crown sits tilted for a reason. The tilted crown is the culture — a nod to hip-hop, to music, my first understanding of life. The Sphinx beneath it is the heritage — our origins, the history of Black people that runs back to the beginning of life itself. One mark, both truths. You don't have to choose.
Every poster and graphic represents a moment in the story. The pyramids are not stock images. I stood there — at a crossroads in my own life, on a journey to Africa — and made a decision in front of stones older than every empire that ever tried to define us: I am reclaiming my history, and I am rewriting it myself. From that moment forward, no one writes my story for me.
I've been a soldier. An athlete. An attorney. A judge. A business owner. A husband. It's the ability to relate to hip-hop just as deeply as to the elements of the law at a jury trial. All of it in one body — versatile, and still authentic. Proof that you can walk into any room, at any time, as your whole self, without compromise.
There's no name for the things I've accomplished in my short time on earth — because they weren't supposed to be done.
So they call it Majic.
That's the standard BLACK MAJIC resets every single day: what it means to be great, to be excellent, to live with passion, to love the life you built — and to share it, so others can feel that same joy.
